Friday, March 8th from 1:00PM to 4:15pm (one 15 minute break) followed by a DPA Member Social.

Three (3) Continuing Education Credits. DPA is able to offer minimal registration fees for this workshop because of the support of the American Rescue Plan Act.

Program Description:

The COVID-19 pandemic has negatively impacted youth mental health. Pathways of impacts will be described, along with evidence-based youth and parenting interventions that can ameliorate mental health challenges currently being faced by youth and families.

Program Objectives:

A.    Become familiar with research documenting the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on child and adolescent mental health

B. Describe a novel conceptual model to illustrate potential pathways of pandemic impacts on youth mental health

C. Apply the conceptual model to Identify points of influence on youth mental health conditions

D. Compare and contrast a range of evidence-based psychosocial interventions that can positively impact youth mental health functioning

Target Audience:

The DPA plans and promotes programs serving the continuing educational needs of psychologists and professionals across a variety of disciplines. Through the provision of high quality programming, the DPA hopes to support psychologists and other mental health professionals in their commitment to provide ethical, culturally sensitive and competent services to our community 

This workshop is sponsored by the Delaware Psychological Association, has been approved for 3 CE credits. The Delaware Psychological Association is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The Delaware Psychological Association maintains responsibility for this program and its contents.

THOSE WHO ATTEND THE WORKSHOP AND COMPLETE THE APA EVALUATION WILL RECEIVE THREE CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS.  PLEASE NOTE THAT APA CE RULES REQUIRE THAT WE ONLY GIVE CREDIT TO THOSE WHO ATTEND THE ENTIRE WORKSHOP.  THOSE SIGNING IN TO THIS WORKSHOP MORE THAN 15 MINUTES AFTER THE SCHEDULED START TIME OR LEAVING BEFORE THE WORKSHOP IS COMPLETED WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE CE CREDITS.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received by March 5th, 2024 will be refunded in full, less a $25 administrative fee. No refunds will be granted after March 6th, 2024.
