We will describe the mechanisms by which AI tools generate output, identify common tools that are available to the general public and to clinical psychologists, and apply existing ethical standards, research, and guidelines to identify best practices for the use of AI in clinical psychology practice for clinicians and with our trainees. This program will introduce and apply a phased strategy approach that builds toward how to ethically and appropriately incorporate AI tools into clinical practice.
